Not a classic S-Type guitarconnoisseurs know thisEddie's modifications to this famous guitar from the front cover of the 1978 Eruption album have been frequently documented.
The EVH surprises with its great everyday usability, good sound, tuning stability, and a "sexy" feel.
This example is an original EVH model from the "Striped Series," a very successful relic in white with black stripes. (Made in Mexico) Large '70s Fender® Strat® headstock, maple neck (aged) Quartersawn maple, perfectly hand-polished in satin urethane Modified "C" back shape 12"-16" compound radius (304.8 mm to 406.4 mm) 22 jumbo frets The truss rod adjustment wheel is located directly under the neck. Brass nut 6-saddle vintage-style Fender® Strat® synchronized tremolo with 43mm brass block White Stratocaster®-style control knob (labeled "Tone") EVH®-branded Gotoh® tuners Approx.
3.4 kg, good handling and comfortable feel at the neck The bridge pickup is a powerful-sounding EVH® Wolfgang® humbucker.
The output can be finely adjusted via the control knob, also ideal for very dynamic, warm clean sounds.
An EVH® Striped Series gig bag is included.
