140th Anniversary Limited Edition Saturation Diver. Designed for those who treat life as the ultimate adventure, the Seiko Prospex line meets every challenge with technological excellence and style. To mark the 140th anniversary of the founding of Seiko, Prospex is celebrating its rich legacy of innovation in high-intensity timekeeping and Seiko's role as the preferred watch for explorers under the sea, on land and in the air. Complete with a special Limited Edition caseback, this extraordinary watch, following ISO standards for mixed gas diving at depths of up to 300 meters, also pays tribute to one of the world's leading diving destinations, Irimote Island, one of the Yaeyama Islands, off Okinawa, nicknamed "the Galapagos of East Asia," with a rich "Island Green" theme reflecting the verdant primeval forests of Irimote. Featuring a durable one-piece stainless steel case with super-hard coating, this landmark timepiece includes a black ceramic uni-directional rotating elapsed timing bezel surrounding a green dial with date calendar and large LumiBrite markers and hands designed for enhanced legibility. For deep sea reliability, this saturation diver's watch also offers an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, screwdown crown, stainless steel bracelet with super-hard coating, and tri-fold push-button release clasp with slide adjuster. Designed for increased torque, the 26-jewel caliber 8L35 automatic movement, assembled expressly for diver's watches at the Shizukuishi Watch Studio, offers a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, a power reserve of approximately 50 hours, and manual or automatic winding.
