Crafted in stainless steel, the 311.33.42.30.01.001 presents the Moonwatch in its classic 42mm round case with the asymmetric case profile and crown-protecting shoulders that have defined the Speedmaster since 1959. The tachymeter scale on the black aluminium bezel and the plexi hesalite crystal are deliberate nods to the original specifications, preserving the authentic character of the watch that NASA certified for all manned space missions.
