notre ami Paul (Mc Cartney ...who else?).

Apparue en 1956, souvent jouée au plectre
(Serge Gainsbourg, Ennio Morricone, Beatles...),
elle reste un standard unique et indémodable.
Une identité sonore indiscutable, un grain à la fois
intime et profond.

Il s'agit ici d'une pièce de 1965, une des années jouées
par Mc Cartney, entièrement d'origine.
L'instrument présente toutefois beaucoup de marques
de vécu, notamment une retouche de vernis très visible,
sur la table, près du manche (d'où le prix...), n'ayant
aucune incidence sur la qualité du (magnifique!) son.
Une patine comme on aime!

La touche et les frettes sont très peu usées.
Le manche (short scale) est bien sûr très fin et l'action
des cordes (filet plat) est très agréable.

Un must pour tout bassiste polyvalent qui se respecte...
Et mêmes les guitaristes l'apprécieront!

parfait état de fonctionnement.

An indisputable sound identity, a grain that is
both intimate and deep.

This is a piece from 1965, one of the years played
by Mc Cartney, entirely original.
However, the instrument shows many marks
of life, in particular a very visible touch-up of varnish,
on the table, near the neck (hence the price ...), having no
impact on the quality of the (magnificent!) sound.
A patina as we like it!

The fingerboard and frets are very little worn.
The neck (short scale) is of course very thin and the action
of the strings (flatwound) is very pleasant.

A must for any self-respecting versatile bassist...
And even guitarists will appreciate it!
