Drummers who know ..know!

The Yamaha Mike Bordin signature snare drum is discontinued since 2011, which make it extremely hard to find and ...yes, expensive, especially given the wonderful and near mint condition of this snare drum i'm putting up for sale.

THIS PARTICULAR YAMAHA MIKE BORDIN SIGNATURE SNARE DRUM UP FOR SALE CONTAINS ALL ITS ORIGINAL PARTS: SHELL, LUGS, BLACK HOOPS, STAINER.. (batter head excepted) ALL IN NEAR MINT CONDITION WHICH IS ACTUALLY EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN 2026.

Technical specifications:

- Model: SD6465MB
- Country of manufacture: Japan
- Dimensions: 14" x 6.5"
- Weight: HEAVY! 8kg /17.6 lbs
- Shell material: Copper with a thickness of 2.0 mm
- Shell finish: Half-Hammered. The bottom half features a special heavy hammering process to add warmth and volume depth, while the top half remains smooth
- Hoops: 2.3mm Zinc die-cast hoops finished in black
- Lugs: 20 "Anton Fig style" lugs, they were borrowed from Yamaha's marching drum line to ensure extreme tuning stability under heavy impact
- Strainer: Heavy-duty H-type and G-type release/butt side system paired with a 20-strand high-carbon steel snare wire
- Heads: Batter: Remo Emperor X (new) - Bottom: Remo Clear Ambassador (OG).

I'm including a Yamaha soft case for protection (visible signes of wear cause i used it on some tours but still in very good shape).

I juste have to mention two very small marks on the shell at the bottom right of the Yamaha badge (see pics).

Once again, (sadly) this beast has never been played by myself since i bought it in 2016 (for some reasons, i unfortunately had to step back from my semi-pro drummer life the same year).

The OG owner barely played it and took great care of it and since i own it, this gorgeous beauty has been carefully displayed in a closed showcase in my living room (smoke free home) all those years.
